J. Kwabena Asamoah-Gyadu (PhD University of Birmingham) is President and Baeta-Grau Professor of Contemporary African Christianity and Pentecostalism at Trinity Theological Seminary in Legon, Ghana. He is the author of African Charismatics – Current Developments within Independent Indigenous Pentecostalism in Ghana (Brill, 2004), Contemporary Pentecostal Christianity: Interpretations from an African Context (Fortress Press, 2020), and Pentecostalism in Africa: Experiences from Ghana’s Charismatic Ministries (Fortress Press, 2021).
