Anthony Briggman

Anthony Briggman (PhD Marquette University) is Assistant Professor of the History of Early Christianity at Emory University. He has written extensively on the theology of Irenaeus, with articles appearing in Vigiliae Christianae, Journal of Theological Studies, and Studia Patristica. He is the author of Irenaeus of Lyons and the Theology of the Holy Spirit (Oxford University Press, 2012) and God and Christ in Irenaeus (Oxford University Press, 2019).
