John R. Schneider (PhD University of Cambridge) is Professor Emeritus of Theology at Calvin University, where he taught from 1985–2011. He also was a Research Fellow at the Center for Philosophy of Religion, University of Notre Dame in 2011–12. He is the author of four books, Animal Suffering and the Darwinian Problem of Evil (CUP, 2020) and The Good of Affluence (Eerdmans, 2007).
