Michael Shermer (PhD Claremont Graduate University) is the Founding Publisher of Skeptic magazine, host of The Michael Shermer Show, and a Presidential Fellow at Chapman University. He is author of numerous books, including The Moral Arc: How Science and Reason Lead Humanity Toward Truth, Justice, and Freedom (Henry Holt, 2015), Heavens on Earth: The Scientific Search for the Afterlife, Immortality, and Utopia (Henry Holt, 2018) and Giving the Devil His Due: Reflections of a Scientific Humanist (Cambridge University Press, 2020).
