Peter Harrison (DLitt University of Oxford) is Director of the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities at the University of Queensland, Australia. He has published extensively on the historical relations between science and religion, and his several books include The Cambridge Companion to Science and Religion (CUP, 2010) and The Territories of Science and Religion (University of Chicago Press, 2015), based on his Gifford Lectures.
