Francesco Grassi

Francesco Grassi is a PhD student in New Testament. He is married to Manuela and they have been blessed with four children, Sofia, Naomi, Rebecca, and Rachele. Before coming to TEDS, Francesco served for ten years in his home church in Italy, primarily in the ministry of preaching and teaching. Upon his return to Italy, he will join the faculty of the Italian Evangelical Bible Institute (IBEI) in Rome where he will be teaching New Testament. Francesco is currently researching purity narratives and atonement theology in Luke-Acts as well as the theology of boasting in the Pauline letters. Passionate about theological integration and committed to bridging the gap between the academy and the church, Francesco prays that God will use his studies and ministry to promote Christian identity and unity, an efficacious testimony in the world, and a renewed affection for God and his word.
