Introduction, Sarah Sumner
Sarah Sumner introduces the three readers and their paper topics for the second session of the Woodbridge conference covering modern Anglo-American missions. On a personal note, she happily recalls details from a class she took with Dr. Woodbridge more than fifteen years prior and recounts how he and his teaching has impacted her life and ministry.
Sarah Sumner is an author and speaker who travels both nationally and internationally to address church congregations and institutions of Christian higher education. In addition, she is a consultant who addresses businesses and nonprofits on the subject of leadership and organizational health. Dr. Sumner is the first woman to earn a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School; she also holds degrees from Baylor University (B.A. in Education), Wheaton College (M.A. in Theology), and Azusa Pacific University (M.B.A.).
