Joshua Jipp, Director
Josh has been Director of the Henry Center since 2023. He is also Professor of New Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, where he has served on faculty since 2012. After completing his undergraduate studies at University of Northwestern, he earned an MDiv at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, a ThM at Duke Divinity School, and a PhD at Emory University, where he studied with Luke Timothy Johnson. In addition to numerous academic articles, Josh is the author of multiple books, including Divine Visitations and Hospitality to Strangers in Luke-Acts (Brill, 2013), Christ is King: Paul’s Royal Ideology (Fortress, 2015), Saved by Faith and Hospitality (Eerdmans, 2017), Reading Acts (Cascade, 2018), The Messianic Theology of the New Testament (Eerdmans, 2020), and Pauline Theology as a Way of Life: A Vision of Human Flourishing in Christ (Baker Academic, 2023). He loves reading novels, playing all kinds of sports (especially baseball) with his kids, being outdoors, listening to music, and having great conversations with his wife.
